A job application form may ask for your details to be presented in blue ink, and if you use another colour, it may show to a potential future employer that you cannot read instructions. However, as a general rule, black ink is asked for most often. This may be for many reasons. It is important to follow instructions as closely as possible. If you do not, it may take your form longer to process or cause difficulty at some stage in the form’s processing.
