ABSTRACT

This exercise is to enable participants of all ages to take a long, hard look at people in their lives, past or present, and consider whether these people are adding to their quality of life or not. Without such reflection time, it is all too easy to drift along in life, investing too much in draining or destructive relationships, and too little in relationships that are truly life affirming. It is easy to be caught in the grip of painful relational experiences from the past. These can continue to influence our lives negatively until they are processed or worked through in the present. Focused reflection as provided by this exercise can be a vital first step for a person to improve their life with more enriching human capital.
