ABSTRACT

Ted was in a very bad mood. He had to go shopping with his mum, which meant lots of waiting about while she chose boring things like potatoes and soap. Then it meant helping to carry it all, and packing it away when they got home. Ted made a horrible face at himself in the mirror. ( ) It made him feel a bit better, but not much. He pulled off his pyjamas and threw them into the corner on the floor. ( ) When he was dressed, he brushed his teeth ( ) and washed his face. ( ) Then he put his comb under the tap ( ) so he could wet his hair when he combed it. ( ) He pulled a bit of his hair so it stuck straight up ( ) because his mum said it made him look like a bottle brush, and she didn’t like it. Ted was in that sort of a bad mood.
