ABSTRACT
People with a learning disability can be excluded from being involved in planning
because of some of the difficulties that this may present. Decisions such as where
to go for lunch, or what to do on Saturday afternoon, or what to do after school next
year may be made on behalf of these people. Communication partners can support
them to be more involved in activity planning in both the short and the long term.
