ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at where people might share sensory-being with a Sensory Being. Then it shows how people can lead a Sensory Being into sensory-being, how might go about facilitating sensory-being and how people will support a Sensory Being as sensory-being ends. The chapter considers when people might share sensory-being. Finally, people will think about different themes for sensory-being, taking in options for using sensory-being to connect with memories or to form cultural connections, or as a way of spending time together, as well as considering how sensory-being could be utilised in an education context, looking at its merits for supporting learning skills, how we might differentiate it for different Sensory Being students and how people could use it to support different curriculum areas. Sensory stories are concise texts in which each line of the text is accompanied by a sensory experience chosen for its relevance to the text and for its sensory qualities.
