ABSTRACT
Those ex-pupils’ comments which contained direct comparisons between co-educational and girls’ schools about the friendliness of teachers were so numerous that their inclusion in Chapter 4 would have produced an imbalance, and this is true also of the remarks about school discipline. In accordance with the undertaking to publish all such comments they are now given in this appendix, except for those already quoted in the relevant chapter, and all but a few examples of the ‘neutrals’. They are roughly classified and in each sub-section the comments favourable to co-education are followed by the unfavourable.
