ABSTRACT
The comments in the earlier section of Chapter 3 were all by Glamorgan teachers most of whom had had teaching experience in both mixed and single-sex schools. Full analysis of the other replies from Glamorgan, the rest of Wales and England would have overburdened the text, but a few of particular note are given here. To curtail description the teacher’s experience is now coded. 1 The comments against co-education are in the later part of each section.
