ABSTRACT

Project Management (PM), SLC, Production CSV, and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) are four processes interconnected and related with a typical computer system in a manufacturing facility. PM is the process that initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria. It takes an individual project from the point it is approved to the point the project goal is achieved and the project is completed. In addition, the PM controls the common activities of the above processes during the development and operational life of the services/technologies. SLC is the "period of time that begins when a product is conceived and ends when the product is no longer available for use". Service Deployment is the process by which a solution is realized to address a specific set of customer needs.
