ABSTRACT

She is playing the role of Holly Golightly. Breakfast at Tiffany’s was made in 1961. It was one

of 31 films Hepburn acted in during her career. It was perhaps her most defining role. And it

took both Audrey and the iconic ‘little black dress’ to stardom, although really, the little

black dress was originally Givenchy’s rather than Hepburn’s, as he designed many of her

outfits. Givenchy was a major part of the ‘Audrey Hepburn style’.
