Several gentle Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) have been formulated which reduce the need to face too much distress, even when working with the most severe memories and feelings. As with any therapy intervention, specialist EFT practitioners are recommended for people with severe trauma or for more complex cases. Sensory data is hugely significant in the storage stage of fearful or stressful memories. The movie technique provides significant permanent changes, creating brainwave energy states that are optimal for healing. Tearless trauma technique is another EFT gentle method by which distress can be minimised or eliminated. It is used by EFT practitioners very successfully, particularly when helping clients with trauma or abuse issues. Soft technique is closely related to the tearless trauma technique. The personal peace procedure is a healing centrepiece of EFT. It can be used as a self-help tool or as a leading tool for helping others.
