ABSTRACT
Education is the process of tempering the soul for a good and productive life. Therein lies the essence of education—to create the open spaces to listen, to honor, to seek truth with courage and faith and to realize that each of us is an integral part of one intelligent whole. This is Conscientious Engagement. The holistic education approach is the means by which can create a new system that focuses more on collective well-being rather than on economic divisions and races. The staff who teaches this must possess these attributes themselves and the school environment must provide for them the right environment, teaching materials and strategies that will promote the achievement of this aspiration. To achieve an education whose optimal aim is to contribute to the formation of human beings with a great spiritual consciousness is valuable indeed.
