ABSTRACT

Racism is considerably the most powerful weapon ever designed. Similarly to terrorism it cannot be contained nor can it be easily eradicated. This is because it is a parasitic ideology that thrives off the human survival instinct. One thing that is important to understand is that all inherited the impact of racism; it is a strand on the individual and collective DNA. That means that each individual manifests the effects of racism in different ways, as well as each community. The impact of racism has festered in us for hundreds and hundreds of years; the human suffering, guilt and confusion that result from racist ideology are now a part of the collective consciousness. At its core, racist ideology aims to divide and sort humanity into rival clans so that there is no chance for unity, love and the sharing of earth's resources. It is rooted in two fundamental assumptions or beliefs: survival of the fittest and scarcity.
