ABSTRACT
Chairman Mao has always emphasized the importance of strengthening the army's ideological and political work, while at the same time he has placed great stress on firmly grasping military training under the command of politics. The army is armed with Marxism-Leninism-Mao Tse-tung thought, and is a people's army led by Chairman Mao and the Communist Party. It has a high level of consciousness of class struggle, of the line struggle, and of continuing the revolution under the proletarian dictatorship. Chairman Mao has set up a series of guidelines, principles, and methods for the army's military training. They represent the scientific summing up of the army's combat and training experience over the past several decades. To grasp well military training in compliance with Chairman Mao's army-building line is an important task of the Party committee. The Party should give military work positive attention and discussions.
