ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the principal methods used during the research, presenting the methodological steps taken in order to achieve a representative sample of wetlands from the range of different wetland characteristics found within highland Illubabor. It then discusses the range of field methods employed in the implementation of the hydrological monitoring programme and secondly, the investigations of indigenous wetland utilization.
