ABSTRACT

This chapter explores the 4 C's (Call, Context, Co-creation and Contribution) of Pakistani society and the 'impulse of solidarity' as an aftermath of partition from India and then in the absence of an equable stately infrastructure. It aims to delve deeper into the communal impulse of 'solidarity' with Akhuwat's brotherhood paradigm. There is a story in the biblical book of John that inspires, which narrates an instance of Jesus washing his disciples' feet. It was just before the Passover festival. Per Howard Macy, Professor Emeritus at George Fox University, also the author of Rhythms of the Inner Life: Communities are the places where we learn to strip away our self-interest in order to serve others. Islamic law provides an advanced and comprehensive vision of effective, efficient and good governance.
