ABSTRACT
The bloc size effect increases the effects of EU policies on the WTO credibility and sustainability while at the same time the proliferation of market power in the multilateral trading system and the expanding WTO membership has made the EU more dependent on WTO rules compliance by a larger and more diverse group of countries.
