ABSTRACT

The following themes are only a selection of many other possible themes, they were to some extent chosen arbitrarily and are in themselves only sketches. To some of them a lot of literature exists already, others are completely or to a large extent under-researched, as the reparation for the slave trade or urban agriculture. Nevertheless, each theme - even if only a sketch - does claim to show alternatives to the status quo, a development and globalization process in favour of the marginalized. The topics are supposed to give an answer - however imperfect - to the issues raised in the last chapter and in the empirical part. The proposed solutions are not revolutionary, unfortunately not, as the development of only a blueprint of a real revolutionary global alternative to the existing capitalist world system would be a huge, separate project altogether, which one person could hardly complete. Social scientists of various fields should be encouraged to engage in such an endeavour. We urgently need a real alternative. Many socialist thinkers, particularly the classics, would have to be re-written and the enormous societal changes that have occurred since, would have to be taken into account.
