ABSTRACT
Multilevel DC/AC inverters have various structures and many advantages. Unfortunately, most existing inverters are unable to produce good output AC waveforms because of their poor total harmonic distortion (THD), due to that each level-switching angle is not carefully arranged. To gain good power quality (PQ), we have to carefully investigate the switching angle arrangement to obtain the lowest THD.
