ABSTRACT
As mentioned in Chapter 4, the DPR was delivered to the Domestic Policy Staff at the White House on December 6, 1978, a date that my staff and I were more than pleased to reach. The work of the past six months had been demanding and challenging and helped to forge a strong bond among us. In fact, for several years afterwards when the group had effectively disbanded, those of us still in the DC area got together on that date to commemorate the experience and share memories.
