ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the necessity to strengthen the top-level design in regional governance. It analyzes this issue from the perspectives of the relation between reconstruction of the Silk Road and peripheral regional governance, regionalization of Renminbi, relation of global value chain and transformation of excess capacity, necessity to play the role of overseas Chinese and Chinese-born overseas citizens and great advantage of cooperation among the BRICS that is the new method for Chinese regional governance.
