ABSTRACT

This chapter describes that the theories or viewpoints, from both home and abroad, are more reasonable, suitable, and pertinent to help explain the new direction and support the "creative involvement" of China's diplomacy. They are theory of global governance, theory of overseas interests, the new sovereignty theory, theory of carefully using force, theory of wangdao and badao, theory of inhibition to inertia, theory of strategic territory, theory of public opinion, theory of international public relations, the stratification theory of national interests, the complexity theory of phenomenon and the world trend theory. China's increasing participation in global governance should fully absorb the views of the majority of the international community, represent the majority of the world population who have few rights to speak, fit into the collective expression of the emerging non-Western powers, and raise China's plan for global governance reform. China will become a powerful socialist industrial country.
