ABSTRACT
There are not only interesting similarities, but also interesting differences between folk physics and folk psychology. There is a second similarity between folk physics and folk psychology, a rather subtle similarity. This chapter emphasizes there is a fundamental difference between folk physics and folk psychology. In current highly developed knowledge society, experts have known for a long time that our folk physics needs to be replaced by modern natural sciences. Folk physics may be alright in daily life, when we are mostly dealing with medium-sized objects and gravity.
