ABSTRACT
The agricultural roots of rurality are explored by taking an inside look at the farm crisis, which began in the 1970s and continues today. This chapter examines its causes, results, and possible solutions. It also takes an in-depth look at the farm bill, its makeup, and its effect on farmers and their families.
