ABSTRACT
When the Kolnais left Quebec at the end of June 1955, they hoped that Aurel would find employment in England, so that they could settle there. On the other hand, they now had plenty of contacts in Canada ouside Quebec Province, and it might be easier to get a job in a Canadian university than in the United Kingdom. But what they probably had not seriously reckoned with was the possibility of settling in Spain.
