ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the results of the empirical investigation. It discusses the objective of the analysis. The chapter presents statistical analyses of the survey results. It also discusses the conclusions that are drawn from the analysis of the results. The objective of the analysis was to examine the relationship between employee environmental initiatives and environmental policies, and the relationship between employee environmental initiatives and supervisory behaviors. The chapter shows the results of logit analyses examining the relationships between the dependent variable and the independent variables, employee perceptions of the thirteen environmental policies. The environmental management literature shows support for our conclusion that environmental communication and environmental competence building behaviors are extremely important in explaining employee willingness to eco-innovate. The chapter highlights the importance that behaviors, which support employee environmental competence building, have in explaining employee willingness to eco-innovate.
