ABSTRACT
Taking into account the evaluations of outcome of the care managers is important for two reasons: first, because their professional view has a legitimacy which is not removed by the commitment to user responsiveness and empowerment; and because apparent inconsistencies in perception demonstrate a need for the 'triangulation' of evidence — the comparison of results based on independent evidence.
