The World Viewed in the Looking Glass: the System's Implicit Equity Valuations

In this chapter, we assume the observed allocations to be perfectly efficient, and interpret the patterns to reflect implicit equity judgements about user groups and outputs made by 'the system'. For instance, the chapter seeks to establish the importance that the system gives to for instance producing DAYS as compared to reduced felt burden of caregiving, and how those priorities change depending on the needs and circumstances of the users.
