ABSTRACT
July 24. A hectic day in the office. I got my memo ready for Toby...We were told our new minister, Waziri Ibrahim, wanted to visit our office at 10:00 AM. He is a Northerner. Unlike Jaja, he lost no time in meeting his whole ministry. He is said to be anti-white and anti-Southern. Obviously a man of strong opinions. Some that he expressed in favor of private development are all right with me, if he means them. A strong minister with the right ideas can make a lot of difference. But we have to wait and see.
