ABSTRACT
As in other West-European countries, Danish innovation policies have undergone significant changes during the past couple of decades. Moreover, perhaps one of the most important changes is that innovation has received a great deal more attention and greater priority in overall industrial policy. It is fair to say that even if the importance of technological development has been recognised for a long time, ‘innovation’ has now become the buzzword of Danish industrial policies to a much larger extent.
