Thirdly, however, cloning humans can be regarded as offensive to people's feelings and sensitivities. This is the line of argument I will study here in the light of the ideas Lord Patrick Devlin presented in his classic lecture 'The Enforcement of Morals' - which was critically discussed by such eminent philosophers of law as H.L.A. Hart and Ronald Dworkin in the 1960s and 1970s.
