ABSTRACT
Marzena was restless when she left the room both because she had run into Eryk so unexpectedly and of course for the revolutionary ideas that he had shared. Gone was the dandy senior who had all the high school girls swooning after him. But then she had last seen him when she was a sophomore and he had graduated with flying colors from their high school with a full scholarship to an Ivy League university in the US. This new avatar of Eryk seemed kind, caring, committed and had actually given her new hope in battling her mother’s deadly disease. Could she then dare to believe that now he could actually give her mother a second chance even without the cruel chemo? She would have to get in touch with Eryk as soon as possible.
