ABSTRACT

Implementation requires a combination of specific concepts and specific topics as dictated by the needs of the company, always linked directly to the characteristics of the Integrated Company. One of the major objections to shared decision making is that people will make mistakes. The possibilities for making a mistake are a reflection of how good management is, particularly in communication interlinking and training. The advantage of the existence of passive knowledge to the Integrated Company is that the people-building programmes will release that knowledge, and make it available on a daily basis. One of the negative aspects which has resulted from companies seeking to improve profitability, or to merge or acquire, has been the seemingly inevitable dismissal of large numbers of people. The idea of emotional intelligence has only recently become widely publicized but is an important consideration for the Integrated Company.
