ABSTRACT
The results of our investigation into the political culture of Russian and Finnish young people will be presented in Chapters 11-13. By way of an introduction, our intention here is to discuss the concept of political culture and its applicability within a cross-national study. In addition, the present chapter will also provide a brief introduction describing the sample (for fuller details, see Chapter 1), the sampling technique used, and the analytiI cal methods employed in the study.
