ABSTRACT
In this book, I have studied some outstanding issues of phrasal phonology, such as the nature of the syntax-phonology interface, the accessibility of syntactic information to phonology, and the property of prosodic structure. Also, I evaluated several current models of prosodic phonology and proposed some new hypotheses for furthering the understanding of grammar.
