ABSTRACT
Smart cities should be digitally accessible by all, have a matured level of resilience to continue normalcy in smart-service operations in all situations and also be sustainable. This chapter discusses all these relevant factors and also helps to understand how the proper use of data can enable smart-city services. The key smart initiatives of Barcelona and Singapore have also been discussed here.
