ABSTRACT
On November 13, 1966, an armoured brigade of the Israeli Army crossed the frontier in the Hebron area of Jordan, It carried out a devastating four-hour raid on the village of Samu. When it was all over, little of the village remained. Some 120 dwellings were demolished; several villagers were killed and wounded. The Jordan Army suffered an unknown number of casualties.
