ABSTRACT

The world in which people do business is changing; disruptive business models, globalization, climate change, and the rise of millennials are impacting the global market and forcing changes that require greater adherence to sustainable practices. PRiSM and its associated guide are published as a stand-alone method, which uses ISO 21500 process groups as its project life cycle. The method includes various deliverables focusing on sustainability that the project team should address as they work on the project. These deliverables include a sustainability management plan. As the project proceeds along the project life cycle, all of the other Customizable and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects (CAMMP) stages include a section on sustainability. Defining the product and project requirements must include the sustainability requirements, the project management plan must include a sustainability management plan, and the project detailed plan must define all sustainability elements.
