ABSTRACT
Bovince Ltd is a screen process printing company which was established in 1952 and moved to its present business park site in east London in 1980. The park is bounded by a residential area to the east, other industrial units to the north and south, and by large reservoirs to the west. The company employs just under sixty people. Its early customers were the cinema trade and whilst film posters are still produced, the company's main customers are the London advertising agencies, for whom Bovince provides large format advertising posters, bus and bus shelter advertising panels and some point of sale display work. It is a family firm with a turnover of about £3 million. The drivers for developing quality and environmental systems are the commercial director (a member of the family) and the works, quality and environmental manager, a long term employee of the company.
