The Dictionary of 20th-century British Cartoonists and Caricaturists

This title was first published in 2000:  A biographical study of cartoonists and caricaturists working in the 20th century. Concentrating primarily on political cartoonists, caricaturists and joke or "gag" cartoonists actively working for the main Fleet Street national dailies and weeklies from 1900 to 1995. There are over 500 entries giving essential biographical facts and information on solo exhibitions, books illustrated and works held in public collections. In addition, each entry features information on the artist's style, influences and preferred medium.
