ABSTRACT
Two phenomena result from this which, as they perpetuate themselves and intensify, may in the long term threaten the very reproduction of capi talist productive relations: the weakening of social cohesion and the ex haustion of democratic modes of thought and behavior. Behind these “po litically correct” but scientifically inept terms there lurk two very real dangers for the dominant classes.
