ABSTRACT

Exploring the day-to-day operations of life exposed an area where our views on kids and money diverge significantly. Whether people were forced to practice good manners or people were raised in a relaxed home where manners were not enforced but learned through watching their parents, most folks agree that manners make social gatherings more pleasant and relaxing for everyone concerned. Depending upon what culture people are raised in, the actions and responses that constitute good manners can vary. There are many methods available to parents as they research the best way to support healthy sleeping habits in their children. The chapter shows two exercises designed to trigger memories that will lead one toward the decisions they made as a child that are influencing ideas about parenting, and one exercise to complete with partner that will identify if goals intersect, run parallel or diverge.
