ABSTRACT

The main aim of the preventive and real-time risk analysis is to anticipate the occurrence of great damages, because it is built on a dynamic simulation of the fire propagation in the very short term and therefore it takes into account the susceptibility of the environment harmed by the fire. Not all fires breaking in one location have the same characteristics, their intensity and propagation speed change according to the weather conditions, influencing in different ways the exposure to fire of some environmental components. The developed method and implemented tool can detect these variations, providing information to the crisis management team on the current risk.
