ABSTRACT
In the 1980s, casting process simulation is developed rapidly all over the world, and many softwares for casting process simulation are developed to analyze casting defects and optimize the process, such as MAGMASOFT developed by Magma, Solstar developed by Foseco in Britain and ProCAST developed in America (Midea, T.C. & Schmidt, D. 1999). Ravi (2010) has suggested casting simulation and optimization methodology without considering optimization of process parameters.
