ABSTRACT
The database NPRD-2016 – Non-electronic Parts Reliability Data was created by the Quanterion Solutions Incorporated (Quanterion 2016d). The database provides failure rate data for a wide variety of component types including mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic assemblies. The data was obtained by long lasting observation of systems and elements in the field. The data collection targeted the information on relatively new components without actually having enough experience of dealing with them as well as the information from different sources, operational conditions, and quality levels (Dylis & Priore 2001).
