ABSTRACT

Workplace violence has been defined in many variations. One definition that covers most of these variations is the following: “Incidents where persons are abused, threatened or assaulted in circumstances related to their work, involving an explicit or implicit challenge to their safety, wellbeing and health” (Wynne et al., 1997, in Di Martino et al., 2003). In our case, it is the clients that represent potential threats to employees.
