ABSTRACT
An issue that must be resolved, if quality work is to be the classroom norm, is the teacher's control over time. The three primary sub-issues inherent in this are a balancing of quantity and quality, addressing the continual disturbances which occur throughout the teaching day, and providing the time to work individually or with colleagues for planning.
