ABSTRACT
Mike is a 30-year-old man who works as a night shift dispatcher for a local police department and part-time for the city water department. Being a bit leery of a stranger, Mike wanted to meet me at a local coffee shop rather than at his home. He was anxious to be part of my research. He brought three large binders, a videocassette, and an 8 x 10 picture of his brother with him. Mike was very eager to talk and it was obvious he had told his story many times.
