ABSTRACT

The major part of Pittu’s research and writing was based on a cross-cultural psychological perspective. This was fueled by his living between two cultures, India and United Kingdom, for more than 40 years of his life. Death, dying, and bereavement were topics that Pittu had contemplated and written about for many years, since the loss of his previously robust health. The illness affected his life in many different ways, which were both positive and negative.
