ABSTRACT
Iron tailings used in the experiment are from Qian’an, Hebei. The main chemical and mineral compositions of iron tailings are listed in Tables 1 and 2. The screening results of iron ore tailings are shown in Table 3. Through the screening results, the fineness modulus of iron ore tailings is 1.4, which belongs to the superfine sand. We used P ⋅ I42.5 reference cement, which is in accordance with the relevant national standards (GB 2008-8076). Its chemical and mineral compositions are shown in Table 4. The sand used in the experiment is standard sand. In the experiment, activators include Na2SiO3, NaOH, Na2SO4 and CaSO4 ⋅ 2H2O, whose purity is greater than or equal to 96%.
