ABSTRACT
With the bearing, appearance, and focus of a professional golfer, at age 29, Craig
Clayton, Associate Copywriter, was the “young Turk” among the creatives at
Heric. One of the “people coming through” the agency that Chief Creative Officer
Rick Waller said “keep it fresh,” this rapidly rising star soon resigned to take a
job in a larger city that was a regional center for advertising near the East Coast.
Craig left Heric before the presentation to Agavez but after co-creating three ads
that were chosen to be among the 11 presented from 71 entries.
